SECRETARY’S REPORT

An informal trail ride was held at LBL on June 27-29, 2003.  Members at this trail ride were: Rich and Melissa Reisz, Jim and Tina Phillips, Bill McFall and Bonnie Dagley, Steve Cain, Bryan Elbrink, and Danny Helfen.

 

A club meeting was held on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at Jim and Tina Phillips’ house.  Members present at this meeting were: Jim and Tina Phillips, Allen and Brenda Popp, Billy and Lisa Chaplin, Greg Mauzey, and Rich Reisz.  There will be trail cleanup at French Lick Hotel on July 19th.  November 14-16, 2003 will be Boonie Riders Fall Ride at the French Lick Hotel.  There will be a fee for this event.  Registration forms can be found on web.

 

The club meeting on August 9th, 2003 was held at the Dubois County 4-H Fairgrounds in the back shelter house.  Members present at this meeting were: Bill McFall, Danny Helfen, Rodney Gogel, Ralph Eckardt, Heath Eckerle, Greg Mauzey, Jim and Tina Phillips, Rich and Melissa Reisz, Billy and Lisa Chaplin, and Allen and Brenda Popp.  Allen needs to contact French Lick Hotel to determine dates for clean up of trails.  Board of Director elections will be held at the October meeting.  Please inform one of the current BOD members if you would like to run for a seat.  Future events are:

Club meeting and Dale Fall Fest Parade – September 6th – 10:00 am meeting at Rich and Melissa Reisz home and parade lineup at noon

Informal trail ride at LBL – September 12th-14th, 2003

Indy Jamboree – September 19th-21st, 2003

Club meeting – October 11th at Heath Eckerle’s house in Jasper, IN

Club meeting – November 8th at Danny Helfen’s house

Fall Trail Ride – November 14th-16th, 2003 French Lick Hotel (must register and there is a fee)

 

9th annual IFWDA Wilstem event was held August 15th-17th.  Members present at this IFWDA event were:

Dave and Joan Wettstain, Rich and Melissa Reisz, Billy and Lisa Chaplin, Allen and Brenda Popp, Jim and Tina Phillips, Keith and Sandy Dryden, Danny Helfen, Bill McFall, Steve Cain, Dave Kane, and George Deel.  Great weather, great company and a lots of trail riding!  Sandy and Brenda competed with several other ladies for the Randy’s Ravine challenge.  Great job of trail driving to both of you ladies!!
